This Government Higher Education Institution, managed by the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Chennai (Affiliated to Annamalai university ), was established on 11th April 2022 through Government Order No. 178 issued by the Tamil Nadu Government Assembly. The college was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr. M.K. Stalin, in the presence of the Higher Education Minister, Dr. K. Ponmudi, and Gingee K.S. Masthan, Minister for Minorities Welfare, Non-Resident Tamils Welfare, Refugees & Evacuees, and Wakf Board.
