WELCOME TO GOVERNMENT ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE, GINGEE

This Government Higher Education Institution, managed by the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Chennai, (Affiliated to Annamalai University) was established on 11th April 2022 through Government Order No. 178 issued by the Tamil Nadu Government Assembly.

Situated in the predominantly rural Gingee region, the institution was founded to fulfill the educational aspirations of the local community. It caters to over 800 students and offers programs in five disciplines: B.A. (Tamil), B.A. (English), B.Com., Business Administration, and B.Sc. The college is located on a 5-acre green campus along the Gingee–Villupuram State Highway, serving as a vital educational resource for the rural population.
